I have a chance to try my hand at bowhunting/fishing for a 'gator. Anyone ever do this? What arrow (harpoon? spear?) would work? It has to go in and not pull out.
Of course I can fall back on snagging/harpooning if needed.
If you think I am sexy now just wait until you find out I have full medical and dental.

ProTip: Never pick a fight with a tree planter. He swings a hoedad for 9 hours a day, carries 30-40 pounds of seedlings on his back, and has 12-14 friends just like him hiding out on the other side of the junk butt pile. They will fuck your shit up.

Unfortunately I don’t have any advice for specific equipment. The guys around here that use archery equipment generally use it to get a line in the gator not to actually kill it . Then you reel it in and then shoot it in the back of the head with a shotgun. We have always used hand lines or a rod and reel
