I'm new to bowhunting and a guy at work is selling a PSE Dream Season bow, ready to hunt with arrows, release, sights, rest, etc. for $400.  A friend of mine thinks I should get a Bear Legion (also ready to hunt package) for $450.  If the draw length can be adjusted to fit me, I'm leaning toward the PSE.

Which is the better bow/ what would you do?

I'd probably go with the PSE, just for the fact that it cost the guy way more than $400 when he bought it new. You can pay full retail for the Bear, or get the PSE for less than half price.

The Dreamseason is a much higher qualiy bow at a good price.

Like said already, the Dream Season is a much higher caliber of bow in the PSE line-up than the Legion is in the Bear line-up.

PSE X-Force bows (such as the Dream Season), are great bows.   Very smooth draw, no recoil, effortless bullseyes.   I have a 2010 PSE Vendetta XL X-Force.  Shoots quietly too.

Thanks guys.  I decided to go with the PSE.  I got the modules changed out today to fit my draw length, and I should get to shoot it tomorrow!

I feel like I'm going to have to re-learn to deer hunt    but I'm excited about it.

Thanks again for the feedback.

You can bet if I get a buck with a bow this year I'll take the time to figure out how to post a pic of it!!

He meant pics of the bow.  We have a thread just for that, too.
