So, other than shooting a 80# bear recurve when I was young, I have no real archery experience.  I've been wanting to get a bow setup though as I always LOVED it when I was a kid.  Unfortunately, my shoulder isn't what it used to be and it has kept me from trying to do this in the past.  I tried to pull my friends bow which is only 70# and it felt like my shoulder was about to fall off.  Anyways, I went to Bass Pro today to see what they could do for me.  The gentleman took quite a bit of time with me and I walked out with a Toxik XT package 50 - 60# configured for 50#.  Got a feather lite release and 6 arrows with field tips and a target.  So far with limited testing (it was dark when I got home) it shoots very well.  Will be playing with it quite a bit more tomorrow. So, with all that being said, what tips do y'all have for me?  Did I get a good bow?

Any bow will be good if you practice. I have always used a wrist strap, kisser button and found carbon arrows are worth the extra money.

The arrows I got today are carbon, although I guess on the cheaper side since they are 6 for $30.
