Hey all, hate to ask, but I don't have the gun value book and GB prices are all over. Really appreciate a little insight from knowledgeable guys.

Working a local trade deal and these may be part of it, I can't figure out what these are worth or if they would they sell easy? I thought they were kind of sought after by a certain crowd, but I could be mistaken. I've never been around them at all. I have no use for them and would hate to get stuck with them, it would sour the deal for sure.

Not sure on value. I would love to get my hands on one of those. Always thought they were cool.

looks like they're Mdl. 516FSS Strykers

blue book says mfg. 1998 -2000

last MSRP was $462

current value:

100% NIB - $495
98% - $450
95% - $375
90% - $335

They're a niche item and you could sit on them for quite awhile before you find a buyer. See them occasionally at shows around here. The ones that sell are in the $350 - $400 price range, much over that and the dealers seem to have them for a long time.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. We'll see what happens

I wouldn't be scared to drop $300 in each.  I believe you can still rebarrel then just like any other Savage bolt gun, which opens up a lot of caliber options.  I've heard they are fairly accurate, although the thinner contoured barrels do heat up pretty quick.

Not quite the same, but I had a Lone Eagle Pistol in 7-08 that I used to hunt deer with for a couple of years.  I like to have never got rid of the thing, hauled to countless gunshows, finally dumped it on Gunbroker for $300.  That niche is pretty damn small in my experience.

Gun shows can be hit or miss for specialty items, but I believe you could have sold it on the right forum online.
