I don't think I've seen any complete guns using 1:7 twist barrel yet. I guess you didn't see it but it does say "These barrels, like all Steyr barrels are Cold Hammer Forged in Austria and turned here in the USA" on the 1:7 barrel product description. And notice it does say "...like all Steyr barrels..." which you can probably safely assume other AUG barrels are CHF as well. On the main Steyr AUG page, it also says CHF for the barrels. Per their website, all current AUG barrels are as listed to be "Mannox-lined (gas-nitride)". |
