Here are pictures of four of my dedicated 22 LR AR-15’s and some typical groups shot off the bench with bipod and rear bag. I have two old 70’s era Tasco 2.5-10x42 Silver Antler scopes. One scope stays on my DPMS Gen 1 Bull Barrel. The other Tasco is my loaner scope but has spent most of it’s life on my KKF 16” dedicated 22 LR AR-15. I used this scope when testing my two CMMG 22 AR-15’s with M-4 style barrels for accuracy since they normally wear red dot sights.
This was originally a DPMS Gen 1 upper where I wore out the barrel and replaced it with a CMMG 16” 22 LR barrel and blued (Alpha series) bolt. This rifle has digested many 10’s of thousands of rounds and originally bought it in the late 90’s.
Here is a picture of a ten shot group from 50 yards where I mounted a 2.5-10x42 Tasco scope for an accuracy test against my other CMMG AR-22. Ammo was Aguila SE 40 grain plated RN HV.
This is a picture of my DPMS Gen 1 16” bull barrel 22 LR AR-15. This barrel is my most Accurate 22 LR barrel.

This a CMMG dedicated 22 LR upper I purchased after the sunset of the AWB in 2004. This has been very reliable and is kind of my loaner rifle for friends and family.

This is a picture of a custom made KKF dedicated 22 LR upper I bought in the mid 90’s. This upper uses a 16” dedicated 22 LR barrel with a unique barrel extension which will only accept 22 LR conversion bolts. I currently use a CMMG blued bolt but have a Ciener and Colt 22 conversion bolts. This upper was purchased when there were no dedicated 22 LR uppers on the market. Bushmaster 22 LR uppers/rifles had already been discontinued and DPMS had not started production of 22 LR rifles/uppers. This upper usually wears a 2.5-10x42 scope but I was testing a new red dot sight. This barrel has turned out to be accurate with a variety of ammo even though it uses the conversion chamber insert.
Here is a picture of my KKF showing the Ciener 22 LR conversion kit.
Here are some five shot groups shot at 50 yards off the bench with my KKF dedicated 22 LR AR-15 with a Tasco 2.5-10x42 scope.
