Hello I am wanting to put a scope on my stock all weather 10/22 and was looking for some guidance. I have narrowed my choices down but I am trying to figure out which will be the best and which rings to use since I do not know what the clearance on the bell will be with the folding sight.
The bases that I am looking at are the Power Custom, and the Weaver Tactical one. The scopes are the Nikon P-22 2x7 BDC and the Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 BDC. I would love to use the Burris Signature rings but of course they only come in medium and large and I am not sure which will work. Well let me know what you guys think. |

Ok so I have decided to go with..
Simmons 22 Mag Rimfire Rifle Scope 4x 32mm Weaver 1-Piece Multi Slot Tactical Weaver-Style Base Now I need to figure out which rings to get. I would like the scope to be as low as possible with the rear sight blade folded down. Do you guys have any thoughts or photos on the setup? I was thinking a set of Burris Zee Low rings. |

I'm pretty sure low rings will work. I used low weaver rings on my 10/22 and the scope was a x32, and it fits with about 1/4 inch in between scope and folded rear sight. |
