I was at a gun show and found a 11-87 for $325. It looked to be in decent shape and most of the wear looked to be cosmetic. I decided if I see it at the next show to buy it. Is there anything special to look for? Any parts that are expensive to replace that wouldn't make this a good deal?

| Check for peening of the bolt lug recess on the barrel extension(?). Basically where the bolt lug engages the barrel. My slug barrel peened enough that I had to file it down. Make sure gas system parts are all there. If it worries you, check for bore being centered in barrel. |
