I was at a gun show and found a 11-87 for $325.  It looked to be in decent shape and most of the wear looked to be cosmetic.  I decided if I see it at the next show to buy it.  Is there anything special to look for?  Any parts that are expensive to replace that wouldn't make this a good deal?

Thanks

Other than the forend crackin, not really. If you do pick it up I suggest getting a replacement set of seals for the gas piston. They are cheap insurance.

Check for peening of the bolt lug recess on the barrel extension(?).  Basically where the bolt lug engages the barrel.  My slug barrel peened enough that I had to file it down.  Make sure gas system parts are all there.  If it worries you, check for bore being centered in barrel.
