Going to the gun show tomorrow to trade in a 95% Beretta 1201FP. I have had this shotgun for about 4 years and only shot it about a dozen times. I like it alot but can not find a hunting length barrel to replace the original. The prices are all over the map at 300 to 600 bucks. Any ideas on it real worth? I really want to trade it for a 1100 or 1187 at least with the Remingtons I can swap barrels and Mag tubes so I can have a hunter version and an HD version.

I know 1100s can go from 250 to 400 bucks, at least this is what I see on Gunbroker. Any ideas as to a plan to execute a fair trade.

I don't see too many of them around here anymore, but the last one I saw in a store had a $400 tag on it. That gun was used but in pretty nice shape. Knowing how most dealers are, you probably aren't going to be able to trade even across for a 1100, let alone a 1187. you're best bet would be to just buy the Rem. and sell your Beretta privately.

Just got back. I got a 98% synthetic 1100 with Rem Choke appears to be someones safe queen, even trade. I hated to see the 1201 go but I really needed a hunting shotgun. Turkey season starts next weekend.

You will miss the 1201FP.
