What's wrong with the stock trigger?––is it bad?  Why not just stick with it and put the money into more ammo?

Honestly... It sucks the pull is heavy and long as hell witch cause a long reset and it is not as smooth as it could be...

The stock trigger sucks...I put it an extra Rock River 2 stage national match that I had sitting around...it was way better!

Mine seems ok in stock form. Feels close to my stock AR trigger. Perhaps break the gun in if you haven;t. Or maybe I just got lucky with mine?

i've ehard sevral people reccoemnd the JP reduced power hammer springs do a lot to improve the trigger. and there are vidos on "tuning up" the AR trigger that suggest cutting one leg off the standard hammer spring to improve the trigger. not reccomended for a duty gun, but this is a .22

i've also heard favorable reviews on Bill Springfield's trigger work. i bought one of his triggers off the EE from someone locally, but i haven't tried it yet.

and there's a number of other aftermarket triggers.  i've gto a JP trigger in one rifle because it came with it ewhen i bought it, it's VERY nice, but they ain't cheap.

Stock trigger was AWFUL.  JP yellow springs help considerably.  Still a little rough and reset  is nothing to write home about.  The JP's are only $10.  It gets $$ when you go up from there.

The stock trigger has a pull of about 7lbs. I would suggest the Rock River Arms 2 stage. I would not reccommend the "tricks". .22 or not, messing with anything on the trigger mechanism is a bad idea. It could potentially cause "accidents". just sayin...

I run Jard 4# non-adjustables in most of my regular use ARs, so I put one in each of my 15-22s as well.
