| Anyone ever use the Opsinc 16th model in either the SPR precision platform or on the m4type carbines?? Any thoughts compared to the 12th or pics? |
|
Got a chance to shoot the 14th, 15th, and 16th models and I personally like the 16th the best. My ears couldn't tell a huge difference, but the 16th seemed to be the best of the 3. Wish I could have heard the 12th.. I personally wouldn't have a problem running the 16th on an SPR-ish or M4-ish rifle/carbine. Actually, when I can afford it, I'm going to get a 16th or 12th but I'm still a little torn (don't know what role/s I want this suppressor to fill yet). I'd say Steve at ADCO will chime in pretty soon and give a couple helpful words. -X |
its been done, but of the OPS line, the 16th is the way to go for a carbine if db reduction is the main goal. If you have an SPR clone, it almost a crime to not get the 12th model |
I have and I had to make the mount for it. This was when Ops first started selling to the public and either the 16th wasn't available or my dealer didn't know anything about it. I wish I could have just bought the 16th. I would have saved me some trouble. But I still really love the 12th. No regrets. |
![]() Heres a vidof my friends on his M16 - its probably the most comfortable carbine type suppressor I've heard. |
| My review of the 16th Model. Done some more shooting since then and still loving it... |

Steve, is collar #2 for mounting a 12th model on a 20" barrel? The reason I ask is because I am putting together a Mk12-0 semi-clone and had planned on using the appropriate 18" barrel for it but I sort of fell into a Krieger SAM barrel, so my Mk12 will be 20" instead of 18". |
No, it is the collar that lets you use a 15/16th model on a barrel cut for a 12th model. |
