They are neat guns, I have an Eddystone M1917, Lend-Lease return, original 8-18 bbl, blued finish, mirror bore, great shooter. Been trying to figure out where it has been, seems Denmark via Britain is the consensus so far. more pics |

I saw one that looked arsenal-overhaul new a couple years ago for $499. It was an Eddystone IIRC. (home shop) Sporterizations, even if very nicely done, are worth about $200 tops, maybe $25-$50 more if exceptionally well done. Their value is in performance, not anything else. Poorly done, butcher job, low grade P-14 .303 conversions sell for $99 or so when available- take that for what it's worth. |
