I'm still working out some details on it, so that's why the photos aren't my usual quality.  (I'm also packing to move)  Probably sending the Holosun 510c green back to get something smaller, either a 507c green or a 509T for it.  I'm still figuring out light mounting as the comp covered the light (not pictured) in carbon inside 100rds to the point of uselessness.  But it easily fits in a primary arms discreet bag, which easily fits inside of a plano power tool box.

lol. thanks.

Honestly my rattlecan method is based on trying to keep the main principle in mind + laziness.

The idea is just to break up the outline of the gun from a reasonable distance. So I think simple, bold contrasting colors is the way to go instead of trying to make a fancy complicated pattern where it blends into one color at a dozen yards.

And i'm lazy so I ain't doing taped stencils, etc. I just do a base coat in the primary color, and then rip an amazon box flap so its a random shape, and then use that as kind of a stencil that I hold against the gun and hit it with the contrasting color. Then I usually do a mist of the base color to soften the contrast just a bit.

The whole process takes like 10 minutes other than masking optic or light lenses. I don't do any prep either. The more worn it gets, the better it looks anyway.

That's cool.  I have an SD barrel that's going in a build, but I don't have a can for it yet (Well, I do, but I don't like taking off the other gun).  They say the shorter version sounds the same, I'll probably go with the short one.

Nice! Do you notice a lot of jacket shavings in the suppressor?
MP5SD barrels are helical ported, i believe to intersect only the grooves and not the lands.

My pre ban IMI Uzi type B marked .45 cal carbine is my oldest pistol caliber carbine which I got in early 1989 before the import ban in mid '89.

This particular model came with a 9mm conversion kit (barrel, bolt, mags) all in a black plastic case with mags and other accessories like sight adjustment tool, mag loader, sling and fake short display SMG barrel.

I upgraded to the Vector Arms high capacity 30 rd .45 kit which uses Grease Gun type mags, but not actually a USGI Grease Gun mags, the top are single stack feed lips.

I built the lower half of this RRA LAR-15 A4 CAR 9mm carbine way back in 2006 about 7 years before Colt released their flattop model AR6951 9mm carbine. It is a clone of the Colt carbine except the barrel is not chrome lined.

Components:
Complete RRA factory assembled upper half, bolt & charging handle
Stripped RRA LAR-15 A4 lower receiver
RRA lower parts kit, 9mm buffer & carbine spring
Daniel Defense EZ CAR 7.0 drop-in rails (no longer in production)
Magpul XTM rail panels
Knight's Armament Co. vertical forward grip
Hahn Precision mag block bottom load (also have VM Hy-Tech mag block for my Uzi mags)
Magpul MBUS rear sight
Stag Arms ambi selector
Magpul MOE trigger guard
Magpul MOE grip
Daniel Defense sling mount loop lower receiver end plate
BCM mil-spec size 6 position buffer tube
Magpul MOE buttstock
Surefire G2 light on Daniel Defense offset light mount
Specter Gear MOUT single point sling
Colt/ Metalform 32 rounds mags
Beta C-Mag 100rd drum

In 2017 I changed the furniture to Magpul SL grip and Magpul SL-K compact carbine buttstock, GG&G Tactical SFG-1 short vertical grip andthe light mount is Viking Tactics.

I used a Vortex Sparc AR RDS in 2020.

Thanks. I just replaced the red dot with an Eotech and I installed 3 lug muzzle devices on all of my PCCs for the suppressor I have sitting in jail. I just need to add a weapon light and figure out how I want to put a sling on it and it'll be "done". It's a really fun plinker. I heard people complaining about issues with the Stribog but I haven't had any. I think they were mostly magazine related and have been resolved.
