Sorry don't know asking here. Can a 222 be threaded and shot thru a 5.56 ar 15 suppressor?

Bore is probably exactly same. Check reloading manual. 5.56 was developed from .222 according to some stuff I've read.

The .222 uses a .224 cal (5.7mm) bullet.
Its the same bullet size as the 5.56x45mm & 5.7x28
