I trimmed some Winchester 223 brass at 1.245 is this ok to use?

Sir. Please check your numbers. A .223 case is 1.760" max.

In a word No.

As when using the RCBS X Die a reloader had to trim 0.010 beyond the Trim To Length to use the die... so that would have been in 223 case 1.740.

The shorter neck may hinder accuracy...

Lesson learned, don't trim 223 cases below 1.750.

1.245"?  There wouldnt be much neck and shoulder after being trimmed that far.
