I have a Saker 556K and was looking to get a 22LR conversion setup and / or a 22AR (M&P). Couple of questions.

Will it damage my 556K in any way to shoot 22LR through it? (I am assuming not, but I am new to suppressors)

Will it still suppress the 22LR?

suppress? yes
hurt it? no
gunk it up quickly with lead fouling? yes

Rimfire suppressors are cheap, just buy the right tool for the job instead of gunking up your expensive rifle suppressor with lead

Is there a simple way to clean the fouling out?

Since the majority of 5.56 cans are sealed, no.

I am waiting on an Osprey Micro right now. I don't know if I will be able to attach it to either of those options and was looking at what options I did have.

Beta mag dump always worked for mine.
Use tracers, and you can spell shit in the sky.

Plus, you can cook fajita meat when done.

All of the above occurred more than once at the Hun farm.

To my experience(s) couple of 5.56 mag dumps will clear 'most' of the lead gunk from a 5.56 suppressor.  That said, Winchester Dynapoints are completely copper plated(including the base) and will greatly reduce lead build up.

I love shooting my 22lr conversions just as much as dedicated 22s but always hated that I couldn't shoot them suppressed without swapping muzzle devices and cans. This is why I is why I'm so interested in the Griffin Alpha and Optimus. You might want to look into them too. They are user serviceable cans than can mount to the taper suppressor mount.

The Alpha sounds phenomenal on a .22 rifle, IMO.

Are these as clean as centerfire pistol cartridges? Is there any leading? Thanks!

Awesome. I'm really looking forward to picking up my Alpha and Optimus.
