[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 22 conversion

I ordered a 22 conversion kit for my ruger mini 14 back in January of this year from Ciener he cashed my check and
as of now I still have not recieved it. You get a message when you call and he does not answer any faxes.
On his web site he suggests to send him a written request with a $10 dollar money order to check on on my order.
Has any one else ordered any thing from these people?
I know he has been around for years but I am wondering if ive been taken.

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Ciener... the man is an ass, and I for one will not do business with him again.

Oh Boy are you in for a ride in the frustration department. To top it off, when you finally receive your kit you will find a invoiced statement that does not include the words Thank You.

From what others have said, he will definitely send it to you. You will wait a long time with no updates on ship time. Best advice - forget about it, do something else and be happy when it arrives.

And let's hope someone else starts making RugerMini 14 .22 conversion kits to compete with his, as CMMG and Spikes have done with the AR15/M16 .22 conversion kits.
