I Bought 45-70 Springfield trapdoor not sure what I have. The barrel is 25.5 inch ,carbine stock with modified but plate,single barrel band
marked 1878 any help would be nice.

sounds sporterized my book list no 25.5 inch carbines 26" yes (as a shotgun that's not it.) most are 29in barrels on carbines but all carbines have 1 barrel band. The rear sight is what I will need a pic of.
