I have a friend who casts .45 and .38 bulets. He buys his lead in Houston from a seller who uses the original Lyman mix. It's hard enough that I rarely have to clean lead from my barrel. I buy 200gr LSWC for $65.00 per thousand.

Yep, the lead wheel weights are a thing of the past.

How are you getting them for $0.17?!?!?!! Shippping must be cheap to you. Cost to me is $0.193 for 1500 (backordered though). I haven't figured what my cost per round is but I bought the HAP bullets on sale months back.
Midway currently sell them for approx. $91 per 500 count. If you buy 1500 at a time it's less than .17 cents per bullet, of course you can load lead for even less I'd say. |

is the 45 auto they list, the same as 45acp? |
