| Anyone use one?I ordered a ramline 50 rounder.Reviews are hit and miss for reliablitly. But they was also hit or miss for the 25 and 30 rounders and they run fine in my ruger. |

Bought a couple of the Ramline ones back in the late 80's. After just a few loadings they started to split at the seam line. Ended up using electrical tape to hold them together.
They also produced the most fail to feed jams in my guns. I've had good luck with the Hotlips and Steel lips mags from Butler Creek. |

I have two... they work fine (low round count through them, maybe ~500 each) so far with federal bulk... don't run lead though. I wouldn't trust them for anything other than plinking... if it matters when you're shooting, use TI25 or OEM mags. |

I had them before the ban and after. Sold all of my old ones to friends in ban states. Most were per what everyone else said. They run pretty good, and then the feed lips erode slowly, and they eventually split along the seams and become unreliable.
What I'd love to see is an all aluminum double stack using the Ramline/Shooters Ridge constant force spring,or at least Butler Creek putting steel feed lips on a double stack 50rd mag if the Blount/Ramline/Shooters Ridge patent on that design ever runs out. |
| Rameline 50rd mags have worked fine for me. Maybe the issue is with older ones. Bought mine at a gun show in Jan for $22 each. The only bad thing is they are firm to load. I think maybe the best bet is to pick a system to start, like Butter Creeks with their speed loader. I have factory 10s, butter creek 30s, eagle 30s, ramline 50s, and they all work fine in my gun. |

The ones I had a couple years ago worked fine, but the preban ones a friend of mine bought were complete shit. I don't like the extended mags ffor two reasons 1. too long. If carying the rifle on a "range day" at the farm, and walking the brush looking for a rabbit to shoot it's one more projection to hang up on something. This is one reason I stick to stock 10 rounders. 2. My only 10/22 at the moment is a 10/22T. For an accurate range "toy" there's really no point in a 25-50 round mag. I shoot 5-10 rounds and go check my group. If only loading 10, why use the 50 round mag at all? Sure, they're fun. I do own a 25 round magazine for mine(bought it cheap in case I buy another standard contour rifle) but don't use it. I'm not against highcap magazines by any means, I just prefer the stock ones, especially in any situation where the extra length gets in the way. |
| I got it a few days ago and ran 50 rnds though it and it feed fine, not one single problem.I love it.Only down side is that it is a pain to load 50 little 22lr rnds in it!LOL..I have the tapco stock on my 10/22 and a red dot with a nice hand grip on the front of it.WIth a 25 to 50 rnd mag in it,it looks pretty awsome,tacticool!!!LOL..I love it,alot cheaper to shoot than the AR.. |

In my house, we call them Jamline magazines. |

when I first use a ramline double stack mag, they work pretty good. The problem is they get gradually worse over a few hundred rounds to the point they are not worth messing with. I use only the steel lip butler creek now and have much better long term reliability with them. I only get about 1 jam per 200 rounds or so with the steel lips. Compare that to 1 jam per 20 shots with the ramline double stackers.
Oh and one trick for best reliability with the steel lips is to load them to 24 instead of 25 rounds. Does make a difference reliability wise. |
