So, I have a trust in one state, but I'll be living and working in another for a year and change. If I buy anything and put it in the trust in my work state, can I file a 5320.20 concurrently when I send in my paperwork? The SBR, for record keeping purposes and whatnot would "reside" in my home state, but I'd like to be able to actually take possession of the rifle in my work state, rather than have the dealer ship the item back home, send in the forms, then fly back and pick up the gun.
Any ideas? |
