| Anyone wearing 5.11 boots on a regular basis? Did yours run true to size? I just recieved a pair for xmas in my normal size, same size I wear in 5 other boot brands but my feet feel like thay are swimming in the 5.11s to the point Im wondering if I return for a 1/2 size down or a full size down. |
I've always bought my size with them (had two pair) but I buy the wide width and they fit good. I don't wear them every day like someone who works patrol, and I would agree, they would probably take a beating pretty fast if you did. I starting wearing Merrell about a year ago and they've been a great alternative to tac boots....again, if you're not working uniform duty this works, but if you are....it wouldn't

I wear 10.5 in boots and my 5.11 Tactical Advance Boots are 10.5 and feel great i wear them about all winter and some during the summer about 50% of the time i guess.
Mine feel great and i love them.Best combat type boots i have had and i'm retired USAF.I know i've had the for over a year now.Holding up great for me. I might get the new AF sage green boots at the BX clothing sales when these wear out though...about $124 no tax.
