| I was interested in picking up one of these bags. I was wondering how the FDE or Sandstone colors mesh with Coyote Brown. Does anyone have any pics? |

It depends on who's version of Coyote Brown you're talking about.
Maxpedition Khaki almost perfectly matches the 5.11 Sandstone. I also have a 5.11 FDE pouch, and a Camelbak Coyote Bottle Pouch on my Sandstone Rush24. Wife says they look good on it. I think the 5.11 FDE looks decent, but don't really care for the way the Camelbak Coyote looks. I'm swapping them both for Maxpedition Khaki. I think the Sandstone color is a real winner, I just wish that 5.11 was putting out more pouches in that color. IIRC, they are only currently offering bags (Rush, MOAB) but no pouches. If you're in Dallas or Austin, GT Distributors has a showroom with a decent stock of 5.11 gear so you can see what they look like for yourself. ~Bill |
