Bought 1000 of the 64g fusion projos from RMR. Trying to find some data on it but cant come across any. Not from AFRCOM, or google. Anyone got a starting load for me to consider? Looking to use H335 or WC844.

Just to check, the fusions that I have (factory new) are 62gr.  The 64gr are the speer gold dots as far as I know.

Kind of confused here honestly lol.

I'd assume (depending on what they turn out to be) you should be able to load them as 62gr fmjbt and just watch the cases for signs.

Just going by what RMR says they are. But they are 64g bullets.

Who is RMR?

Surplusammo.com had them a while back, and yes they are 64 gr. Use starting data for the 63gr SMP Sierra and work up.  If you don't have any data for the Sierra, let me know and I will post a link.

I shoot these to great effect using:

1x LC cases
Wolf SRM primers
25.5 gr. Ramshot TAC
Seated to the cannelure

Note this is, I believe, a "5.56 pressure" load according to Ramshot's data, and I'm firing it out of a rifle with a 5.56 chamber...  It's a nice accurate load for me!

The Hodgdon website has info for a 63gr SIE SP:

H335

Starting Load of 22.5 grains (2820 fps) with a max of 25.0gr (3051 fps)

COL: 2.200"

Sierra AR data

I usually run 25gr TAC/ Rem 1x case/ Rem 71/2

25.5 gr Of TAC is listed as max, work up your load carefully since you are substituting a different bullet.

I have loads ready to test by haven't had time to shoot.

I started with 22g of 335 and went to 26g in .5g increments. I'll see where my accuracy is and where my pressure signs are then start breakin it down into smaller increments. I just gotta find time to get to the field first. Plus it's been cold and windy the last week or so, so my ace has been stayin in the house. Got plenty of other stuff to load for the mean time.

Keep in mind these Fusion are neither cast lead nor jacketed bullets.

They are electroplated.

You should use data for electroplated bullets of the same weight and profile.

Important Reloading Data

DeepCurl's unique construction process joins the jacket to the core at the molecular level for excellent performance and consistency. For this reason, conventional reloading data developed for standard jacketed bullets should not be used to load DeepCurl™ rifle bullets. Only DeepCurl specific reloading data should be used. It can be found here at www.speer-bullets.com in the reloading data pages or by contacting Speer Technical Services at 866-286-7436. DeepCurl handgun bullets can use data from the Speer Reloading Manual #14.

While the link I'm posting does not show data for the 64gr .224 it does show some interesting info....."Boron Nitride Coating" and all the charge weights appear to be lower than conventional jacketed bullets. Start low and work up your load.

I actually worked that same load up today (except I used CCI #41's) and was getting right around 1.5 MOA out of my PWS Mk116 today.  Not bad for pulls!

This is the same load I use. Accurate for myself as well.

I've loaded these up with TAC to 25.3 (5.56 pressure for the ss109 and seem only mild pressure signs). That load duplicates the Speer 5.56 pressure LE load pretty well in my firearms.

I have also loaded with H335. The highest charge that I went to was 25.8, and I think that there is still headroom to go there. This got me about 2900 FPS in a 16" CHF barrel.
