| Does anybody know the case capacity of the different brands of 6.8 brass. I only have SSA and Hornady on hand and I would like to know if any of the other brands have a higher capacity. |

Case capacity is measure in grains of H20, not powder.
As pointed out, take a fired case and weigh it, then fill with H20 and weigh again, subtract, this is you internal case capacity. Check the 2 that you already have and compare. Why the need for "higher capacity" brass? |

I was having to compress the powder more than I like to with the 120gr SST bullets with 8208xbr but just decided to try other powders and it's no longer a problem. Compressing powder is perfectly safe and exceptable as long as there is data to support the charge . Compressed charges even heavily compressed are preferred by many. |
