*Hear* me out (pun intended). I've recently started shooting subsoincs after picking up my SRD762 direct thread around Christmas time, and my favorite thing thus far is actually the 7.62x39, even over 300BLK (I know I just lost some of you already, sorry).
I'm getting some Maker 190gr and 208gr .310 slow velocity expansion rounds soon. I had amazing luck with my 182gr FMJ round nose, and I'd like to keep using Trail Boss. I have 1:10 twist, so both of these heavy bullets make me worried enough to compound some load data before doing anything stupid. Anyone had any luck with 190+ bullet weights with a 1:10 16" bbl before? I'm open to jokes, name calling, and useful information. You won't hurt my feelings. Thanks in advance. |

| I've been working up various sub sonic loads for my SBR AK. I've used the Berry's 200 gr. plated .308 and the Amax 208 gr. bullets. My sweet spot last week end was the 200 gr Berry's with 9.5 grains of Accurate 1680. But they only cycle suppressed with my Wolverine on and the KNS piston closed nearly all the way. Gonna load some Trail Boss this week and try them this week end. Hoping to get a load that will cycle iunsuppressed and suppressed. |
