How hard is a 7.5 barrel on a sup? Is there data?

It's going to be a lot louder than a gun with a longer barrel.  Also I cant think of any cans that are rated down to 7.5".  There is so much unburned powder in a 7.5" gun it is going to eat your baffles fairly quickly.  Higher pressure may be an issue too.

ETA:  Assuming you are talking about .223/5.56.  Higher pressure is going to be an issue with durability too.

The Specwar and Saker 762's are rated down to 7 inches AND full auto. Just a heads up. I use mine on a 9.5 556 and run it hard. Here is a pic of the blast baffle after 1k rounds give or take.

Absolutely no issue at all.

Saker 5.56 is rated to 7.5". It is brutal on the can, no matter what it is rated.

Port noise (I think) made the shorter barrel seem not much different than a 10.5" and 12.5".
