I do not like the thin plastic trigger on my new 870.  If I get the remington police trigger group listed at midway, will it have a wider trigger, or is it just a metal trigger group with the same dimesions?

Anyone have any input on this?  Does an 870 police or a wingmaster have a nice wide trigger, or is it thin, just like the new expresses?  I would like a trigger similar to my other shotguns, a Browning gold and an A-5.

I would imagine the trigger itself is the same.

An easy mod would be to get a trigger shoe made for paintball guns. They're pretty popular with the rimfire crowd, especially the Remington 597 guys like me because the factory trigger pull is horrendous. Go to a local paintball store and bring your trigger group, or check this website which have shoes specific to guns. The size you are looking for there is #9.
