Been reading the threads that indicate the express comes with a MIM extractor and the police uses a machined extractor. Is the extractor a do it yourself parts swap or factory only job? Anyone sell spare extractors? |
Yes it is a very simple swap. Also the Wingmaster also uses the forged steel unit as does the police magnum. Try brownells they are about the best people to use for getting factory parts at a decent price.If you have any questions about the process of swapping the extractor out email or IM me I am a professional gunsmith I will help you out. | It takes about 30 seconds to change the extractor once you have the bolt out of the gun. The only thing holding it in is the spring loaded plunger behind it. I had to change one out on my first wingmaster. It wasn't properly fitted at the factory and cycling the action chipped one of the corners off, which lead to it not fully extracting and ejecting shells. |
