I have my Pro1000 set up for 9mm with Lee dies. When raising the press ram with a new case, the lip seems to get caught on the inside edge of the die mouth and the shell will not go into the sizer without tapping the case or heavily jiggling the press handle(I am afraid this will mess up the powder charge stage). The cases seem to be aligned front to back and side to side, It is really hindering my speed.
I haven't reloaded but a thousand or two rounds thru these dies total over the life of the set and I am preparing to work up several thousand now.

(Other than being a Lee Pro1000), What could be causing this? If you need further explanation/description, I will try to provide tomorrow.

BTW, my .38/.357 and .45 acp dies have not had this problem

There are two holes in the slide that pushes the case into the shell plate. Do you have the link in the farthest out hole?

Yep.
The case is going all the way into the shell plate. Could the case be tipping to the front a little as it always seems to catch the front of the die? And what would cause that as the shell plate seems clean?
I do have another carrier, so maybe I can try that to see, but I already have that one set for .45 and it is a bit of a pain to change it out.

Does it happen every time or just once in awhile ?

Make sure the rim grooves in the shellplate are clean.

Check the shellplate to see if it's still tightened, it may have come loose. Also, check the screw that holds the carrier to the ram.
