First, I apologize if there is a thread hidden somewhere, but my searching of the site and individual forums did not turn up anything. If there's something to be had, just point me in the right direction. 
Has there been anything said about the Black Box since Shot '07? I've heard that AAC will eventually (read: maybe, possibly) be coming out with it, but I have yet to see anything other than the same two YouTube videos and a post on Defense Review circa '07. Is there anything fresh on this can? |

The interest in this project was driven by the military. Once the military pulled their interest, AAC put the project on the back burner for the time being. They have said they "WILL" pick it back up at some point, but right now they are wisely trying to just get the other products done and out the door.
I shot one of the BlackBox prototypes and it was amazing. Wish they were available now. At this point there is no estimated production date for the foreseeable future. So, don't hold your breath. Mark |
