Looking at the AAC site, it calls out the M4-2000 but on the accessories, the additional attachements are a different price between the M4-2000 and the M4-2000 Mod .07.  Is the Mod .07 an updated can?  If so, what was done to improve it and how would I know I am buying an older one vs. a newer one.  Thanks for the help.

The mod 07 is lighter and has a new mount.

It's a better can, and it's more expensive.  Go to the Advanced Armament website and look at the pics and info.

Also, if you work back a few weeks there have been some threads on the M42K.  I'm pretty sure that at least one of them includes side-by-side pics of the 2 different styles.

The M4-2000 mod 07 mount has small teeth on it.

Compare to the M4-1000 mount, which is the same as the older M4-2000 mount.  All these mounts, except the top one, are for the M4-1000, M4-2000 (older), or 762-SD.

BTW, the M4-2000 mod 07 is priced the same as last year's M4-2000 at $895.
