Anyone have one? Thoughts as compared to the M4-2000?

I have shot it on 10.3s, 14.5's, and 16's.  I have shot it side by side with the M4-2000.  I really really like the Mini 4 on my 16 in gun.  The M4-2000 makes a 16" gun  bigger than it needs to be.  It is hard to tell the difference between the 2 cans side by side so why buck the wait and put up with the extra size.

On a 10.3" gun you can tell the difference in sound for sure, but with the Mini 4 will still allow you to shoot an communicate with a partner indoors without hearing protection.  It still hurts a bit, but nothing like unsurppressed.  It also takes the indoor over pressure away.

Anything for interior use or CQB I like the Mini 4.  Outside and on guns that are already long and heavy the M4-2000.  I decided 6946's and 6920's Mini 4.  Sniper or Recce type rifles the M4-2000.

The Mini 4 Is a ton of can for the size and money.

Thanks

I would be running the mini-4 on a 14.5 gun that is pinned and wield to be 16in.

I forgot to mention, there is a slight difference in flash suppression at night.  The M4's size ans extra baffles do more.  You just need to see if you are comfortable with the size ans weight.

So there is a wee bit of flash escaping the mini that does not escape the 2000?

I would somewhat expect that.

In my experience, the mini 4 is considerably louder than an m4-2000.

This was outside mounted on a 10.5" I was the guy next to the guy using it. Still quiet enough to communicate, but louder than the 2000 by a lot.

Edited to add:

The surefire micro seemed to be somewhere between the mini 4 and m4-2000. (as perceived by my ear, not not sure how it would measure with testing equipment)

The mini4 is louder to other shooters around the gun. But behind the gun it is very close to noise of the m42000. I like the mini4 better than the m42000 on all barrel lengths. I am behind the gun and sound is very good for the little size weight and length added to the weapon.

I am also looking at this suppressor. How does it compare to the Surefire Mini? The AAC looks to be half an ounce lighter and a quarter inch longer, both adding less than 3 inches to the overall length. I'm torn between the two right now, obviously my wallet prefers the AAC.
