I was looking up some info on AAC's SPR/M4 and seen that it is limited to barrel length. So my question is what is the shortest barrel length you can run the SPR/M4 on?

Thanks,

The MITER mount on the M4/SPR extends back over the barrel, 2-3 inches or so.  I believe the exact amount is listed on their website.
So the barrel you use in on has to have at least that much barrel clear from the threads back to the gas block / FSB / etc.
It's design is more suited to longer range capable rifles due to the adjustable POI features of it's mount.

At least a 11.75" barrel, but a 12-12.5" barrel would probably be better.

I looked on AAC and was unable to find anything on barrel length. Thank you for the info after reading it I went back and looked it over again and can see exactly what was stated about dropping back over the barrel an inch and a half.

Thanks again,
