Filed a stamp on my ACR now looking into who can do a new 10.5 barrel assembly for me and what the cost would be?

For the best work, contact Nefarious Arms. Marvin Pitts has been mastering the ACR for several years now and he'll tune the gas port for optimum reliability.

I also do them on the side and not only 5.56.  Marvin does great work but I don't know his wait time at the moment.

Sorry, I completely forgot about you, Dana. Marvin's current wait time for a barrel chop is 4-6 weeks. I'm personally quoted at 8 weeks for a Grendel conversion.

Could you PM me and let me know what a 10.5 5.56 barrel assembly would run? Thanks yeah I've heard good things about Marvin Pitts, just wonder what his turn around time and cost would be? It's a demo gun so I can't get heavily invested in it

Did the same thing and replaced it with a Noveske 13.7 barrel.

Basically you pick any barrel you want that has an Mid length gas system and it's an easy swap. Anything shorter would require the hand guard/rail altered as well I would think. Not sure though.

All you need is the new barrel pinned at the gas block. The factory barrel has 2 but there's enough room to repin on a micro gas block journal.

The midlength is the easiest swap but still requires the barrel to be turned down for the piston support.  You don't need to modify the enhanced handguard for any length and the enhanced only needs modified if you are going shorter than 12.5ish with a can.

A carbine length is my favorite setup but requires the second most work behind a pistol length.

This is going inside a CL3 nexus tactical rail

Carbine for sure then.  The cl3 is big enough to fit most cans too. 9.7" is pretty close to the rail. 10.5 has a little gap which makes it nicer to remove the can.
