| Looking into buying my first AOW (not first NFA item). I don't understand this comment from the seller "Yes I can send to your FFL, but it is on a form 4 and that cannot be changed.". What does that mean exactly? $200 tax instead of $5 tax? |

What does that mean exactly? $200 tax instead of $5 tax? Hope that makes some sense. Eta: what is the aow? ...and don't forget your transfer fees for nfa are usually at least triple what a regular gun would be due to your ffl having to hold it in his safe until you are approved |
| It's one of those Serbu Shorty Shotguns. He's not in the same state but says because it's a form 4 it's a $200 transfer? I agree, from everything I've read, my dealer fills out the $5 form 4 and then another $5 to me. My dealer's NFA fees are quite reasonable though, $50 |
