Got a 3/8" AR500 target for Christmas.  Never shot the stuff, going to shoot it Saturday, but want to make sure i don't damage it.  Planning on setting it up at 100 yards, and shoot it with sone 147gr 308, 122gr 7.62x39, and some 62gr 5.56.  All this ammo is FMJ.  Does any of that sound like ammo that would damage the target?  Just want to make sure.

Thanks!

Generally you want to keep rifles at 100+.  With pistols its more a question of how much lead splatter you are ok with.  10 yards is usually a good safe minimum.  Also keep in mind, high velocity stuff like 5.56 may still put some little dimples on your plates - nothing terrible, but that the downside to higher velocity.
