Im putting a BSA contender 8-32X50 on my AR50, I know its not really the scope I need but I got to get up the cash to get a good one and this scope is just sitting there. Does anyone have a suggestion on what rings to go with, I need something to sit it up high otherwise I cant seem to see out of the scope properly. |
| I use Leupold Mark 4 super high rings on my AR-50. You can also try a set of Badger Max50 rings in extra high, you can find both at Premier Reticles www.premierreticles.com |

Is your BSA 8-32 a 1" tube scope? Badger Ordinance rings are certainly first class but will require the 1" reducer set since they are cataloged in the 30mm diameter only. I do have a set of Badgers in 1" (without reducers), but don't know how my gunsmith managed to get them and have never heard of any others. If you get the 30 mm rings you will be all set if down the road you can upgrade to a better scope on your AR50. Let us know how the BSA scope holds up on your AR50. |
