Are the D-rings used to attach shoulder straps that would allow for carrying it like a backpack?  I so, where to get those straps?

Thanks!

From the description: "Case comes with... 4 D-rings on the back to attach a shoulder strap."

I would say you should be fine using a single, sling style, shoulder strap with clips that can be found all over.

If you'd like to set up dual straps like a backpack, it should be a cinch to attach a set of ALICE pack straps using the same D rings.

A third option would be to buy some 1.5 to 2" webbing and some tri glides and ladder locks to fashion your own low-profile dual strap set up.

Thanks!   I was thinking more as a backpack, or using all four rings.  I'd rather getting something ready but could not find any good, low profile as you mention, solution anywhere.   The Alice pack might draw attention.  I was thinking something like the hiking REI-type models.   As you say, I may have to built it myself.

Did you check out Sneaky Bags? Those are fairly low profile.
