It's a bit artsy but it does an alright job of showing the paint-

I used Aervoe's Earth Brown, Forest Green, Coyote and Khaki along with a few little dabs of Rustoleum's Army Green. It's pretty much the sponge technique with a few extra colors. If you'd like the full write-up, go ahead and shoot me an email or a PM.

One thing about the sponge method though, it's real easy to bunch everything up too much so be careful of that. If you do, your rifle pretty much ends up looking like a solid color from a distance and, needless to say, that doesn't break up the shape too well.

What she lacks in natural beauty is more than made up for in stubborn reliability.  For some reason it was more nerve racking painting the $700 optic/mount than the $1500+ gun.

I used a matte clear on the last gun I sprayed & it still came out glossier than I'd like. I'm not gonna use any clear on the next one.

Just plain ol' Aervoe Olive Drab.

I was going to add a cammy pattern...until I decided that plain ol' olive drab is so darn good at blending in all on it's own that no pattern is necessary. Aervoe paint is amazingly tough stuff.

this is almost identical to my first AR I did. Great job. Crazy how close it is, here is a pic of it when I had it, actually ended up getting more for it than I figured due to the paint job, the shop loved it.

Might've added it after he painted, OR he's planning on using a suppressor and doesn't want the paint to cook or flake off inside the can.
