Live in AR and am building an AR.  Want to get the paperwork and pay Uncle Sam his due so I can get a suppressor.  Wondering if I can get a good one for close $500?  How do these suckers go on?  Do I need a different flash hider or do some fit on with the A2 f.h.?  Thanks.

An SRT Hurricane screw on suppressor costs ~$540 + the $200 transfer tax + your class three dealer fee (~$30) = ~$770 in your hands.

With this model you unscrew your flash hider and screw on the suppressor.

Some manufacturers make suppressors that slip over flash suppressors but I don't have any experience with any of them.

Somone else with more knowledge on the subject should be here shortly.

Where in AR?  Several members have suppressors here.  I would let you shoot mine if your are in close to Little Rock.

I'm in Fayetteville.  Perhaps I may take you up on that offer sometime.

Mine is a YHM and was a little over $500 plus $200 in a tax stamp.  I am happy with it.
