ATF Form 5630.7 I'm applying for my 01/03 SOT, have an 01 FFL in hand already (2012 exp) and have the form 99% completed. Here are my questions: 1. How long does it take to receive the SOT for the current July Year? (07/01/09 to 06/30/2010) (asking to those who have their current SOT) 2. Line 16, "New Business", does that apply to a current FFL holder? (in business since 06?) (I'm thinking it may be a generic term for: Have you applied for an SOT before?) 3. Is there anything else I should know, be concerned with, or aware of?  |

1) Your cancelled check is basically your "license" until you get the mailed license. That said, I don't recall ours taking more than a week or so. Don't send it in now or it will be applied to the year that ends June 30, 2009. Wait until early June to submit it.
2) IIRC "New Business" = "New SOT". So yes, you check it since you don't have one yet. 3) Not really. Getting the SOT was one of the easier parts of the whole process. 07/02 |
