Just called Silencershop because I hadn't heard anything about the dealer-to-dealer transfer on my Evo 9. Apparently my form 3 went past the window they expected it and they have already resubmitted the form 3 to the ATF again.......
I assume I do not have any options? Just wait another 6-8 weeks? |

IIRC the ATF acknowledged the fact they they lost a stack of Form 3's a couple of months ago. I think it was 2 weeks to a month worth. They asked dealers to resubmit them and they would push them to the front of the line. Your May have been included. I don't remember the time frame off the top of my head.

Quoted: My Silencer Shop Form 3 from the first week of September got lost. Form 4 check finally cashed on Christmas Eve. Think I'll just buy local and bypass the Form 3 fiasco in the future. I'd be curious if shops other then SS have been experiencing lost Form 3s. I had my Mac form get lost, the other from that was with it was approved this month  .I just I am a few month out now from it. But SS did make it right.

Ha ha. I bought a can from SS in September. "lost" my form 3 twice. Just got approved the end of December. I hope I get to send my paperwork before the end of January.
I will never buy a can out of stock again. SS was full of excuses. Always the fault of the ATF. They suck, but... |
