Hi,
Looking for some opinions/advice. I have long been a fan of the AUG and I am strongly considering picking one up... Its just now that I have a few choices.... I'd like some help picking. Im torn between the following models: 1) The MSAR original copy 2) The MSAR new E4 copy 3) The Styer AUG which is now being made in the US... Any opinions would be great. Has anyone played with each? Apparently the E4 model has different height levels for the optic and rail so I'm wondering if MSAR's original height levels were a little off or were insighting complaints causing the E4's reconfiguring (I know the main reconfig was done to accept AR mags, I am more concerned with the height of the optic and rail). Also customer service related issues between MSAR and Styer would be good to hear. Thanks and if you have one pics are a plus |

MSAR all the way. THEY HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I ruined the threading on my barrel in the process of removing the stock flash hider to attach a can. I called them up to see if they could take a look at it and possibly rethread it. I sent it back and 3 days later I had a brand new Barrel on its way back to me at no charge.
I love steyr but call them up with the same situation and Im sure all you will hear is people laughing on the other line. I have the original model with no forward assist. I have no problem with the rail height, I do not have the factory optic It is nice having 42 rnds in 1 mag. But the mags are pricey soooo if you have a lot of AR mags laying around, maybe it would be best to get the new model that acccepts AR Mags |
You should check out the bullpup forum here on Arfcom.
