From what I understand, some cutting or filing of the front of the triger pack housing is necessary to make it fit. Obviously the AUG trigger pack also does not have the MSAR side bot release actuator lever so that will not work.

No. It will not fit. If you want to start filing on a trigger pack that when you can find it, sells for $200ish, good luck.
