I was still not able to get some specific group data together with pictures to post up b/c I went with 5 friends. We were too busy shooting each others toys.  I plan a solo trip next time to spend some quality time with the AXR and get some groups and sight in my CQ/T.

I brought along one of my ARs, my AXR, and 2 handguns. One friend brought his AR, his old Mauser, and a few handguns.  Another brought his 10.3" AR, 6.8 AR, and his new PSL. Last friend brought 2 ARs, a .308 bolt action (not sure of model 70 or Rem 700), .50 BMG, Mini 30, and a few handguns.
The highlight for everyone was the AXR well until the .50BMG and Tannerite came out and everyone got to send a few rounds down range.

Again, the AXR performed flawlessly. Every type of mag I have tried has worked just fine.  This time I tried the new Lancer mags and they worked great.  I really like these just as much as the PMAGs.  One of my friends is in the Air Force and just got back from Afghanistan. He said all the Aussies were carrying AUGs over there.  He got to man handle a few of them while he was there but not shoot them.  So, when I pulled the AXR out of the case he was more than excited.  I let everyone shoot a mag that wanted to.  Later, he asked me if he could shoot the AXR a 2nd time. Then he asked where the mags were at and I replied - just use your AR mags in it.  He replied with "What?" I thought the AUG mags were different.  So I went to explain and he completely freaked out with excitement. Now, he wants one. Everyone was surprised it took AR mags. There was a Vietnam vet there shooting a Garand and a few other goodies and the AXR caught his attention. He came over and shot the bull with us for awhile as we admired each others arsenals. All in all, it was a very fun day - I just hate how much it costs now.  85 mile round trip in a diesel truck, range fees, and ammo prices really add up.

Me shooting my AR - All that crap on my legs is poison ivy, it Sucks!!

.50 BMG fun - check out the grass.

Sounds like you may have introduced one more person to the bullpup world.

I too really like the Lancer Magazines. They are the most ruggid translucent polymer magazines out there in my honest opinion and yes I'm including the MSAR and AUG magazines with that. The feed lip of the Lancer magazines is where it really shines.

Yeah I took mine out to the range this weekend along with a bunch of other stuff as well.

Only complaint is the muzzle brake...it's pretty brutal on bystanders.

The AXR does draw a crowd at the range. Last time I took mine out an Entire squad of marines got to try it out - save the one lefty.

I guess the moral is if you want to be popular at the range, bring your AXR and lots of Ammo!......................................DJ

Oh no doubt. Great way to get a guy to let you play with his Class III stuff or some other cool firearm is by having something of your own to bring to the party.
