I have the APA Bi-Pod on my AR30 (in 338 Lapua) that "creeps" a little, towards the muzzle, after each shot. The instructions say to tighten it "Very tight", which I think I have done. Has anyone had this happen? Any suggestions? I have an AR50 coming next week and have already purchased an APA for it. Was thinking it may be even worse on the 50. Kinda a pain to reset it every 6 or so shots. And embarrassing if I'm not paying attention and it works it's way off at the range!

Mine hasn't moved since I installed it on my AR50. There has to be  problem with the bolt being to long and bottoming out before it pulls the wedge into it's grove or something.

Check into this. Then contact Larry at APA and he will help you out, great guy!

What you could do is take a small drill bit and make a small mark for the screw to hold into the stock. Should keep it from creeping any more, do the same on your AR-50 when you get it.
