In the various price check threads I have cited GalleryofGuns.com as a useful benchmark. I called them today and discovered the total price of a firearm is equal to their "Sub Total" line. I had mistakenly thought that the deposit was refunded, when it is not; the "Balance Due" line is simply the sub total minus the deposit; it is the amount left to pay on the gun, not the actual price. My apologies to anyone who has been misled by my remarks. CDNN Investments and Walmart probably provide better price guides. |
