I am new to the SBR world and I am looking in to purchasing my first. I am looking into either 10.5" or 11.5" uppers. What is the difference in accuracy between the two? Is there a big difference? Also being new to SBR's what is the difference in these two barrel lengths compared to a 16"?
Thanks. |
| Barrel length does not dictate accuracy potential, only velocity. A low quality 11.5" barrel will be outshot by a high quality 10.5" barrel, all else equal. There's also the topic of rigidity and the notion that short barrels (being more rigid), inherently have more accuracy potential than longer ones, but I don't know all there is to know about that argument. |
