Just got the tech sights I ordered for my marlin 795 last night. I am a bit confused about adjusting them. Am I going to need their proprietary wrench for adjustments? No. If they are anything like my Tech Sights for my model 60 they don't have elevation in the front sight post. They just have it in the rear sight. I just use something pointy to turn the elevation nut and I use my fingers to turn the side to side adjustment. If they have elevation adjustment in the front sight like my 10/22, I just use two pointy objects to move it. No problem. These sights are awesome! I am a huge fan now. |

The rear sight is adjustable with the same "tool" used to adjust the old M16A1 type rear sights.
The front sight is also adjustable with the M16A2 front sight adjustment tool. M16A1 rear sight adjustment on the large end of the tool. M16A2 type front sight tool on the small end of the tool. The A1 rear sight had 5 holes in the windage adjustment knob. The A1 front sight had 5 notches in the front sight while the A2 front sight has 4 notches. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/2PM144A-1.html |
